Development Services Division The Development Services Division is responsible for overseeing the development process including land annexation, zoning, subdivision, building permits, and inspections and enforcement of City codes and regulations. The Division consists of the Urban Planning Division and the Building Inspections Services Division. The Urban Planning Division is responsible for administering rezoning, subdivision, and special exception applications and staffs the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Board of Adjustment and the Historic Preservation Commission. The Building Inspections Services Division is responsible for reviewing site and building plans, conducting building inspections, enforcement of nuisance and other zoning-code related regulations, and administering permits such as temporary use permits.
