Resolution No. 22- 77

Resolution approving the three- year Financial Plan for the City of Iowa City, Iowa, and the five- year Capital Improvement Plan.

Whereas, the City Council of the City of Iowa City deems it in the public interest and in the interest of good and efficient government for the City of Iowa City, Iowa, to adopt a three- year Financial Plan for operations and a five-year Capital Improvement Plan budget; and

Whereas, the three- year Financial Plan and multi- year Capital Improvement Plan are subject to

annual review and revisions; and

Whereas, a public hearing was held on March 22, 2022, at a regularly scheduled City Council meeting and public comments were received.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Iowa City, Iowa, that:

1. The City Council of the City of Iowa City does hereby adopt the three- year Financial Plan for the Fiscal Years 2022 through 2024 and the five- year Capital Improvement Plan 2022 - 2026. 2. This Resolution is an expression of the Council' s legislative intent for planning future operation and capital improvements for the City of Iowa City, Iowa; and the anticipated means of financing said plan, subject to applicable laws.
