FY25 Proposed Budget

Recent Accomplishments: • Design for the next landfill cell was completed; construction begin in spring 2023 and will be complete in late 2023. • A dual extraction project needed to meet regulatory requirements was designed in FY24 and will be implemented by the end of calendar year 2023. • The Landfill Master/Site Planning project was completed with SCS Engineers and design for the Landfill Equipment Building Replacement has begun. The project will be bid and built in FY24 and completed in FY25. • A Scalehouse software update was successfully completed, and minimum rates were increased in July 2023. Between the improved software efficiency and reduced need for many customers to weigh twice, the wait time for customers at the landfill has been significantly reduced. 242
