FY26 Proposed Budget

The Transit Property Tax Levy (including State backfill funds), estimated at $4,335,300, will be transferred into the Transit fund from the General fund in fiscal year 2026. Combined with funding from other governments, $8,734,100 of the $9,910,700 in revenues and transfers in (not including reserve transfers) or 88.1% is from sources of revenue not generated by transit operations. This is higher than fiscal year 2024 funding due to City piloting fare free revenue starting in fiscal year 2024. Expenditures: Fiscal year 2026 budgeted expenditures represent a 42.5% decrease from the fiscal year 2025 revised expenditure budget. The decrease is due to capital outlay expenses to replace 5 buses in fiscal year 2025.
