Recent Accomplishments: •

Civilian Crime Analyst – Improved gathering and presentation of key stats and information that have been beneficial to ICPD operations and community partners. • Co-Responder Crisis Response - One year of officer paired with mental health liaison has resulted in an increase of opportunities for the mental health liaison to provide immediate support and follow up to those in crisis. • Community Outreach – Established Public Safety Instagram page to highlight ICPD and improve messaging. • Animal Services- training building moving forward and generator installation completed.

Upcoming Challenges:

• Understaffing has caused three community outreach officer positions to remain unfilled, which has impeded the ability to have a crisis response team working during the evening hours. • HVAC system upgrade for Animal Contral and Adoption Center. • Understaffing and space constraints in Evidence continues to be a challenge to purge and store property.
