Recent Accomplishments:

• Completed twelfth year of First Hour Free resulting in 842,113 hours of free vehicle parking. • 494,686 total digital parking transactions using the ParkMobile app, a 22% annual increase. • Increased ParkMobile transactions to 44% of all on-street, surface lot, and ungated ramp transactions. • Successfully completed the first year of the Downtown Ambassadors program in partnership with the Downtown District and Block by Block, resulting in the removal of over 415,000 lbs of trash, 2,700 instances of graffiti, 1,700 bio-hazard cleanups, and 8,160 hospitality contacts

Upcoming Challenges:

• Decreased demand and revenue for parking facilities. • Aging parking facilities requiring significant annual investment. • Revamped parking citation appeals program to improve efficiencies and customer service. • Evaluation of improved citation recovery protocols. • Accommodating the growth of commercial deliveries in an evolving downtown environment. • Competing demands for the curb-space downtown. • Rehabilitation and expansion of bike parking in downtown.
