During FY2025, the City of Iowa City supported 77 % of the Senior Center’s budget . Senior Center revenue includes grants, donations, membership fees, parking fees, independent contractors, and rentals, etc. From FY 2012 – FY22 the City began applying for the Economic Development/Quality of Life Block Grant application to Johnson County for funding, receiving $60,000-$70,000 annually. As for FY25 we have established a service agreement with the County, receiving $62,430.
