Fall 2024 Rec Guide

ROLLER SKATING Free roller skating at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center on Saturdays. All youth 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older who remains in the gym. Groups limited to 5 kids per adult. Facilities pass required to check out skates. Socks are required. Some dates are not available for skating. No skating on October 5th. DJ present on October 12, November 2, and December 7. No fee.

Celebrate a Day of Play brought to you by Iowa City Parks and Recreation and the University of Iowa Therapeutic Recreation Department. UI Day of Play will offer a wide variety of opportunities to explore adaptive recreation and inclusive play. Spend your day working your way through activity stations learning new games and new ways to play old games. There is no fee or registration required to attend this event.
