Wellness programming remains a cornerstone of the Senior Center, supporting physical health, mental wellbeing, safety, and independence. Highlights & Participation 60 wellness-focused programs offered in FY2025 - Topics included fitness, balance and fall prevention, nutrition, caregiving support, mental health, chronic disease education, and spirituality - Ongoing access to the fitness room for members Sample Classes Strength & Balance - Chair Yoga and Gentle Yoga - Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention - Nutrition for Healthy Aging - Caregiver Support and Education Impact & Why It Matters Members consistently share that wellness programming helps them remain independent, confident, and connected to their bodies as they age. Wellness programming reduces isolation, supports fall prevention, and empowers older adults to manage their health proactively.
