In this session we will discuss what anticipatory grief is, how it can be engaged with, and the support it can provide as one moves toward loss of any kind. Anticipatory grief is the precursor to grief and bereavement. Understanding it helps us normalize our experiences. This grief, like all grief, is the deep anguish of our soul that shows us just how much capacity we have for love in this world and how much we can give of ourselves and connect to others. It's the price we pay for connection. Learning more about it and building our coping skills and resilience can help us move through it with a bit more ease and acceptance. Tools and strategies for seeing and moving through anticipatory grief will be offered. Membership required.
