Goals, objectives, and performance measures Strategic Plan Goal:

Invest in Public Infrastructure, Facilities, and Fiscal Reserves Monitor/utilize endowments, donations, and grant funding sources to decrease reliance on general fund subsidies. (Strategic Goal: Evaluate alternative revenue sources.) Continue to work with the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Foundation and Community Foundation of Johnson County, which provides unique memorial opportunities and support of the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department. Continue to research and apply for possible grant funding sources to benefit the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department.
