Repair cafes are worldwide free meeting places for people interested in fixing things and having their things fixed. At the cafe, you’ll find tools and materials to help make repairs, as well as volunteers who have experience repairing furniture, clothes and other textiles, bicycles, small electrical appliances, and glass or ceramicware. This is a Transition Iowa City event that Iowa City Parks & Recreation is co-hosting. Additional partners include Iowa City ReStore, The LENA Project, and the University of Iowa’s Office of Sustainability and the Environment.

Saturdays, 9:30–10:15 AM Join us for our monthly free Yoga in the Park series! Each class is 45 minutes and is a full-body balanced workout combining strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness. We’ll move our bodies joyfully and connect safely.
