Description This is a water main replacement project on Bradford Dr, Louise St, and Wayne Ave. Approximately 1950 feet of 6-inch cast-iron pipe (vintage 1956) will be replaced with 2,500 feet of 8-inch PVC. The scope of the project will replace or install water main on Bradford Dr from Arthur St to 1st Ave, on Louise St from Bradford Dr to Wayne Ave, and on Wayne Ave from Wade St to Arthur St. Justification The existing water main has been subject to 18 water main breaks and has reached the end of its useful life. This project would also make the distribution system more robust by adding an additional looped feed to the system. This water main feeds Southeast Junior High School, and ranks in the top ten of the water main replacement matrix. Total Project Cost: $650,000 Status Active

Priority Critical (1)
Total Project Cost: $150,000
Description Remove and reinstall, or repair the one Jordan well.
Status Active
Justification The Jordan well is a primary source of low nitrate groundwater used seasonally to dilute river source water to maintain finished water below the Safe Drinking Water Act nitrate standard. The need to recondition the Jordan well is due to capacity reduction overtime and the continued usefulness as a low nitrate dilution water source.
