Description The project would include the replacement of return activated sludge pumps. This includes all pumps and any piping/structural modifications required to fit the pumps. Justification These pumps have been in service since 2002 and are nearing the end of their useful working life. The maintenance repair frequency for these pumps has been increasing in the past year. Failure to replace these pumps in a timely manner could cause diminished operation and treatment of the wastewater resulting in violations of our NPDES discharge permit.
